Biography
My name is Matt Smith. My interest in photography first started when I went to
college; I studied graphic design and this included some basic film photography and
dark room work. Part of my course for graphic design included manipulating images
which inspired my interest in digital photography. I worked in a local photography
shop, for two years, selling cameras and printing pictures and it’s from there that I
bought my first digital SLR. Since then I have been experimenting with different
photography styles, but always trying to find details often overlooked with the naked eye.
I have always had an interest in cars, so take every opportunity I can to combine
my interests. Either visiting local race circuits, finding new places to photograph my
classic Mini or attending car shows and meets.
